Music is the oxygen in Ryan Sharrock’s life and as presenter of his ‘Full Metal Racket’ show and as one half of the brothers Sharrock’s ‘Shar-Rock & Roll Show’ duo, Tyldesley born Ryan is now “living the dream” as a member of the Radio M29 team.
Ryan’s musical taste is perhaps as eclectic as you can get. While hard rock and metal is his primary love on the musical spectrum where he attends the annual Download Festival along with countless ‘heavy’ gigs throughout the year, Ryan also takes great pride in embracing the discographies of the likes of Elvis Presley, Cliff Richard (not only at Christmas!), Phil Collins and John Denver.
Still, noise is king in his eyes and it’s obvious to hear the passion he holds for the metal when he sits on the studio throne! Raise your horns people and join Ryan in the pit for his fortnightly Friday show, 10pm-11pm on Radio M29!
